Occupationally competent within health and have recognized qualifications in your specialism

Assessors – A1 qualified or equivalent with at least 2 year’s experience

Verifiers – V1 qualified or equivalent with at least 1 year’s experience

Registered with the Institute for learning, however this can be done once you start work.

Registered within your occupational specialism eg nursing or social work etc.

Experience and knowledge

Up to date knowledge within your  occupational specialism

Update knowledge of the QCF and Apprenticeship Frameworks

Good ICT skills

Verifiers – good understanding of awarding body requirements

Understanding of functional skills

Teachers – a good understanding of Ofsted requirements

Skills

Excellent interpersonal skills, including active listening skills; able to communicate with a diverse range of people and organisations; able to build strong working relationships with other organizations.

Team worker.

Holistic approach.

Highly organised, able to prioritise workload.

Strong written communication skills

Effective time management skills.

Good understanding of safeguarding
