Assessor / Verifier
|Occupationally competent within health and have recognized qualifications in your specialism
Assessors – A1 qualified or equivalent with at least 2 year’s experience
Verifiers – V1 qualified or equivalent with at least 1 year’s experience
|Registered with the Institute for learning, however this can be done once you start work.
Registered within your occupational specialism eg nursing or social work etc.
Experience and knowledge
|Up to date knowledge within your occupational specialism
Update knowledge of the QCF and Apprenticeship Frameworks
Good ICT skills
Verifiers – good understanding of awarding body requirements
|Understanding of functional skills
Teachers – a good understanding of ofsted requirements
|Excellent interpersonal skills, including active listening skills; able to communicate with a diverse range of people and organisations; able to build strong working relationships with other organizations.
Highly organised, able to prioritise workload.
Strong written communication skills
Effective time management skills.
Good understanding of safeguarding
|Ability to recruit learners and have good employer engagement skills|
|Positive, sensitive and compassionate.
