Dynamo has been supporting healthcare employers during the Pandemic to recruit and train new recruits to assist them with managing during these unprecedented times.
Face to face delivery is not possible at present, however new staff still need to receive a robust induction training package to support them to keep themselves and their patients/service users safe.
While there are many e-learning training programmes available, e-learning without reflection, discussion and assessment from an occupationally competent tutor is not effective for people who have never worked in Healthcare.
DHCT has created a virtual classroom-based experience, where learners will work together with a tutor to gain the knowledge they need to work in the sector. While working with the employer to put shadowing opportunities in place, this enables the learner to reflect daily while completing their assessments for the Induction Package.
- The learners will complete the Care Framework Knowledge, and the Infection, Prevention and Control training.
- They need to be in a quiet space during the teaching online and they have to complete and submit their CFC assessments to the tutor for marking and certification to pass.
This can lead to the Adult Apprenticeship in Care level 2 programme to ensure a full year of training and support for your staff.
