Support Worker / Care Assistant Career Progression Opportunities

Someone can complete their Level 2 Health and Social Care Apprenticeship and Progress to the:

Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship in Health and Social Care

Learners will achieve:

  • Level 3 QCF Diploma in Health & Social Care.
  • Level 3 BTEC Certificate in Preparing to work in Adult Social Care.
  • Level 2 award in Employment Responsibilities and Rights in Health and Social Care
  • Functional skills qualifications at level 2 in Maths and English

Learners can progress from level 2 to level 3 within the apprenticeship framework then as their knowledge and skills are enhanced and they receive greater responsibilities within the work place they can achieve other higher Nationally Recognised qualifications which are mapped to job roles.

You could progress towards a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services
