Medical Receptionist Apprenticeship Career Progression

Learners can progress from level 2 to level 3 within the apprenticeship framework then as their knowledge and skills are enhanced and they receive greater responsibilities within the work place they can achieve other higher Nationally Recognised qualifications within the Qualification and Credit Framework qualifications which are mapped to job roles.

Level 2 Healthcare Support Services (Medical Receptionist) Apprenticeship can progress towards:

  • Level 3 Healthcare Support Services (Senior Medical Receptionists) Apprenticeship, which includes:
    • Level 3 QCF Diploma Healthcare Support Services
    • Level 3 BTEC Award in Employment and Personal Learning Skills in Health.
    • Level 2 Functional Skills in English and Maths.
