On Tuesday this week, our Access to Work in Healthcare course tutor Chris visited CPR foodbank in Camborne to have a chat with some of the locals who visit the centre, and he donated some much-needed items.
At Dynamo, we regularly donate to foodbanks, as supporting our local communities is one of our core values, and we want to do everything we can to help to tackle food-poverty in Cornwall.
Chris spoke with the volunteers at the foodbank about how things are going down there, and also had a chat with a few of the foodbank visitors. He promoted the Access to Work in Healthcare course that we have running at the moment, that can support those who are unemployed to gain the skills they need to find employment and help them to build their confidence. Chris also chatted to people about the courses we have that can support people to upskill at work and gain extra skills.
Chris says ‘I loved it. Everyone engaged really well and there were a few people interested. I am looking forward to going down there again’
